While UK television and newspapers’ ad revenues declined during the Olympics, Internet ad spend rose for the same period.


Spend on television advertising dropped by £200m during the summer period, which included the London Olympics, but Internet ad spend remained strong: it was up 10.9% year on year, which is in line with Internet advertising spend levels throughout 2012.
